  • Phone or chat online with the Beat eating disorder team (free)

    Beat can listen without judging and help you plan your best next step. If you're aged 18 or over, call 0808 801 0677 If you're under 18, call 0808 801 0711. Helplines are open 365 days a year from 9am – midnight during the week, and 4pm–midnight on weekends and bank holidays. You can also access the 1-2-1 web chat by clicking the link.

  • Join a Beat eating disorder online support group (free)

    Talk to people who know what you're going through. Beat runs a number of weekly online support groups for people who have an eating disorder, or are looking after someone who has one.

  • Get support from Switchboard - National LGBTQIA+ Support Line, Webchat and Email

    If you are a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and you're looking for advice from someone who understands you; chat to a LGBTQIA+ volunteer by calling Switchboard on 0800 0119 100 (10am–10pm every day) or use their webchat or email service.

  • Get support from Every Cloud Play and Creative Arts Therapy CIC

    Every Cloud's qualified therapists offer children a safe space to work through their emotional difficulties through play; the natural language of children as well as through creative arts therapy. For children aged 3 - 17, referral can be done by parents, carers or professionals.

  • Get Support from Horses for Wellbeing

    Horses for Wellbeing is a charity set up to help tackle health and wellbeing amongst young people in Gloucestershire. By harnessing the transformative power of Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) they support the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of young people aged 5 to 18 facing diverse challenges. These challenges include mental health issues, trauma, disengagement with school, and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). By partnering young people with their horses, they provide a unique and therapeutic experience that develops new skills, fosters personal growth, resilience, and emotional healing in a safe and supportive environment.

    Chat with a counsellor about what's worrying you using the online 1-2-1 chat. It's confidential, and no problem is too big or too small. For ages 18 and under. You can also call Childline on 0800 1111 - Childline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Get one-to-one emotional support from Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (GRASAC) (free)

    Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (GRASAC) offer a 20-week one-to-one support programme to anyone in Gloucestershire aged 13+ who has experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. These sessions can be face-to-face, over the telephone or online. Refer yourself online or call 01452 305 421 during office hours Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Fri 9.00am – 4.30pm.

  • Call the 24/7 National Domestic Abuse Helpline (free)

    Phone or chat online with a trained adviser from the all-female team. They won't judge you, they'll help you understand your options and decide what to do. It's completely confidential. Call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 200 247.

  • Get anonymous email support from Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (GRASAC)
